Job Summary :

Invecto is seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco and Aruba network solutions, including the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex Layer 3 enterprise network architectures.

The ideal candidate will lead critical escalations, work closely with cross-functional teams, and ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of large-scale network environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex Layer 3 network infrastructures using Cisco and Aruba solutions.

- Deploy and manage Cisco routers and switches, as well as Aruba switches, ensuring high network availability and performance.

- Configure, monitor, and maintain Aruba wireless components (APs, controllers, security policies).

- Handle escalations, perform root cause analysis, and lead resolution of critical network incidents.

- Manage and support enterprise-level routing and switching technologies: VLANs, STP, HSRP, OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.

- Conduct network performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive issue resolution.

- Collaborate with security and system teams to implement network security best practices (802.1x, RADIUS, ACLs, segmentation, etc.

- Engage with vendors for hardware/software support, upgrades, and new technology rollouts.

- Maintain clear and updated network documentation, SOPs, and configuration records.

- Utilize monitoring tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Aruba Airwave/Central for visibility and alerting.

- Apply QoS, NAT, DHCP, DNS configurations as required for seamless operations.

- Participate in audits, DR drills, and security assessments.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS and Aruba OS / Central.

- Expert-level knowledge of Layer 3 protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and Layer 2 technologies.

- Proficiency in network security, segmentation, and wireless infrastructure.

- Experience with enterprise monitoring and ticketing systems.

- Familiarity with 802.1x, DHCP, DNS, NAT, QoS, ACLs.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and lead network initiatives end-to-end.

- Excellent communication and vendor coordination skills.

Preferred Certifications :

- CCNP (Routing & Switching) or equivalent advanced Cisco certification

- Aruba certifications (e.g., ACMP, ACSA) are a plus
