Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Lead System Engineer Citrix (L3) to manage and support enterprise-scale Citrix infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Citrix virtualization technologies, infrastructure management, troubleshooting, and IT operations within large-scale enterprise environments.
The role involves handling complex L3 incidents, maintaining high availability of Citrix environments, performing infrastructure upgrades and patching activities, and driving operational excellence through automation and proactive monitoring.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage, administer, and support enterprise Citrix environments including :
1. Citrix XenApp
2. Citrix XenDesktop
3. Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops
- Support and troubleshoot Citrix versions 6.5 and 7.x environments.
- Administer and troubleshoot :
1. Citrix StoreFront
2. Delivery Controllers
3. Machine Creation Services (MCS)
4. User Profile Management (UPM)
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Citrix NetScaler / ADC environments.
- Handle complex L3 technical issues and critical P0/P1 incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents within SLA timelines.
- Manage Windows Server infrastructure in Citrix environments.
- Work on virtualization platforms including :
1. VMware
2. Hyper-V
3. Nutanix
- Support infrastructure services such as :
1. Active Directory
2. DNS
3. DHCP
- Perform regular :
1. Patching
2. Upgrades
3. Maintenance
4. Health checks
- Monitor system performance and availability using :
1. Citrix Director
2. SCOM
3. SCCM
4. Zabbix
- Ensure infrastructure stability, security, and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell.
- Automate repetitive operational and administrative tasks.
- Work within ITIL-based operational processes.
- Participate in :
1. Change Management
2. Release Management
3. Problem Management
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge repositories.
- Coordinate with cross-functional infrastructure and application teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.

Education :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant Citrix or VMware certifications will be an added advantage.
