Role & responsibilities:

- Provide L3 Production/Application Support for Java-based enterprise applications.

- Analyze and resolve complex production issues through code-level debugging.

- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.

- Handle P1/P2 incidents within SLA and participate in on-call support/rotational shifts.

- Monitor application health and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.

- Analyze application logs using monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.

- Work closely with Development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams for issue resolution.

- Support production deployments, release validations, and change management activities.

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.

- Prepare technical documentation, RCA reports, and knowledge base articles.

- Identify recurring issues and recommend automation or permanent solutions.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java (Java 8/11/17).

- Experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs.

- Good knowledge of SQL (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL).

- Experience in production support and incident management.

- Strong debugging and log analysis skills.

- Experience with Linux/Unix commands.

- Knowledge of Microservices Architecture.

- Familiarity with Git and Maven/Gradle.

- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar ticketing tools.

- Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
