Role Summary :

We are looking for a Network-focused L2 Support Engineer to manage and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure in a high-security fintech environment. The role involves handling escalated issues from L1, ensuring network stability, security, and performance, and supporting day-to-day IT operations across LAN, WAN, and cloud-integrated environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Troubleshoot and resolve LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity issues

- Configure and support network switches (L2/L3), VLANs, trunking, and port management

- Monitor and maintain network performance, uptime, and availability

- Handle IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, DHCP configurations

- Basic to intermediate troubleshooting of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP)

- Manage switch-level traffic flow, MAC tables, port configurations

- Understand network path selection, load balancing, and failover mechanisms

- Configure and troubleshoot firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, etc.)

- Monitor and respond to security threats, suspicious traffic, and unauthorised access

- Ensure adherence to network security and compliance standards
