Position :
Application Support Engineer - .NET (L2 Support)
Experience :
3-6 years of experience in .NET application support
Role Summary :
Provide L2 support for .NET applications by resolving functional and technical issues, ensuring smooth application performance and availability
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide L2 support for .NET Core / ASP.NET applications
- Analyze application logs and troubleshoot issues effectively
- Handle and resolve incident tickets within defined SLAs
- Coordinate with infrastructure and database teams for issue resolution
- Perform minor bug fixes and code changes when required
- Monitor application performance and escalate critical issues
- Document issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures
Required Skills :
- Hands-on experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET
- Good knowledge of IIS (Internet Information Services)
- Strong skills in debugging and log analysis
- Experience in production support / incident management (L2)
- Basic understanding of SQL Server / database queries
Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (App Insights, Splunk, etc.)
- Knowledge of Azure / cloud environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell)
Soft Skills :
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work in a 24/7 support environment (if required)
- Team player with a proactive approach
