Key Responsibilities :

- Knowledge in configuring rules in Akamai property manager to route or redirect request to different origins or backend-based URL paths.

- Good knowledge in activating cloudlet policies in akamai policy manager and property manager.

- Design, implement and manage segmentation policies using akamai audience segment cloudlets .

- Knowledge in adding, updating and managing domain names (CName records, Edge hostname) in akamai property manager and dns system.

- Knowledge in providing and maintaining SSL/TLS certificates for domains, configure HTTP behaviors and implement best practices for secure traffic routing and certificate renewal.

- Knowledge in monitoring domain delivery, resolving DNS, SSL and edge routing issue.

- Knowledge in set up and manage origin server setting in akamai property manager, configuring Origin server behaviors in property rules.

- Knowledge in deploying, configuring and maintaining Akamai edge security solutions, including Web Application Firewall, API security, and bot management.

- Knowledge in maintaining and optimizing policy and rules to ensure protection against threats like Ddos and malicious bot traffic.

- Good knowledge on monitor and investigate edge traffic patterns using Akamai Control Centre and analytic tools like Dynatrace, detect anomalies amd responce to security incident with custom mitigation rules
