About the Role :

We are seeking a talented Senior Game Designer to craft the battlegrounds for our mobile action games.

Your role is to design compact, engaging, and competitively viable maps that are optimized for shorter, 4-5 minute matches.

You will own the level design process from initial concept and blockout to final polish, using rapid playtest iteration to create strategically rich environments.

Responsibilities :

- Design, prototype, and implement ideas directly in Unity, including active and passive abilities.

- Ability to think like a programmer, breakdown, deconstruct and understand existing mechanics into systems and write detailed specs which programming team can use.

- Own the technical design and data implementation for all weapons, equipment, and core combat mechanics.

- Use scripting and data management tools to create and tune the game's meta-systems, such as player progression, rewards, and live-ops events.

- Collaborate with engineers to ensure systems are scalable, performant, and easy for other designers to use.

- Analyze player data and feedback to make informed, data-driven balance changes and feature improvements.

- Develop and maintain design tools and spreadsheets to streamline balancing and content creation.

- You understand how to model systems on spread sheets or tools like machinations.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of game design experience, with a strong focus on technical design or systems design.

- Shipped at least one game in technical design capacity.

- Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Visual Scripting, C#, Python, or similar) and experience working directly within the Unity engine.

- Strong understanding of game balance, combat systems, and player motivation in a competitive environment.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manipulate large data sets to inform design choices.
