Job Title : Kotlin Multiplatform Developer (KMP)

Role Overview :

We are looking for a passionate Kotlin Multiplatform Developer to design and develop high-quality cross-platform mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and Android development fundamentals, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, shared application logic for both Android and iOS platforms.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

Application Design & Development :

- Develop cross-platform applications using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)

- Build and maintain shared business logic used across Android & iOS

- Develop and enhance app features with reusable, scalable components

- Write clean, maintainable, testable, and efficient Kotlin code

- Implement mobile app architectures such as MVVM / Clean Architecture

Collaboration & Stakeholder Interaction :

- Work closely with :

a. Android developers

b. iOS developers

c. Backend teams

d. QA & Product teams

- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions

Performance & Quality :

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and performance issues

- Optimize application performance and memory usage

- Ensure apps meet usability, reliability, and performance standards

Deployment & Maintenance :

- Integrate with backend systems using REST APIs

- Manage Git-based version control

- Support app builds, releases, and ongoing maintenance activities

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong experience in Kotlin programming language

- Hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)

- Solid understanding of Android development (Android Studio, Jetpack, Coroutines, etc.)

- Basic understanding of iOS integration concepts (Swift/Objective-C familiarity is a plus)

- Experience working with :

a. RESTful APIs

b. JSON parsing

c. Git / GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket

Good to Have (Preferred Skills) :

- Knowledge of Swift / SwiftUI / iOS app development

- Experience with Ktor, SQLDelight, or Multiplatform libraries

- Familiarity with :

a. Dependency Injection (Koin/Dagger/Hilt)

b. Unit testing frameworks

c. CI/CD pipelines

- Experience with Agile / Scrum environments
