Key Responsibilities :
1. Operational Leadership :
- Define and drive the Technical Publications operations aligned with the organizations objectives, and PLC requirements.
- Establish, maintain, and support documentation process, including :
1. PLC documents exit criteria
2. Standards for authoring, review, approval, and publishing
3. Alignment with KLA Technical Publications Style Guide and information models
- Represent Technical Publications in LKS Governance Councils, NPI forums, and leadership reviews.
- Drive cross-division alignment to ensure consistent documentation practices and reuse.
2. People Leadership :
- Lead, coach, and develop Technical Publications Leads.
- Own talent strategy : hiring, succession planning, capability development, and role clarity across Tech Pubs teams.
- Establish clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations aligned with business priorities.
- Build and sustain a culture of quality, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
3. Delivery, Quality & PLC Execution :
- Ensure on-time and high-quality documentation delivery for :
1. New Product Introduction (NPI)
2. Sustaining engineering
3. Services, Customer manuals, and Software upgrade procedures
- Enforce adherence to PLC documentation requirements and phase-exit criteria.
- Ensure documentation is audit-ready, accurate, and compliant with safety, regulatory, and corporate quality standards.
4. Operational Excellence & Metrics :
- Define and track Tech Pubs operational metrics, such as :
1. On-time delivery vs PLC milestones
2. Quality and rework trends
3. Content reuse efficiency
- Provide regular status and risk reporting to senior leadership.
- Bachelors/masters degree in engineering /physics/mathematics.
- 10+ years of experience in Technical Publications / Product Documentation in complex engineering environments.
- 2+ years of people leadership experience, including managing large global teams.
- Hands-on experience with CCMS, DITA, information modeling, and content reuse strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
