Overview :

We are seeking a hands-on Head of Engineering with 10 years of experience in building and scaling high-performance consumer platforms.

This leader is skilled in modern AI-driven development and testing, with a proven track record in delivering award-winning, robust products from concept to market.

They will lead multiple teams, including distributed and offshore groups, ensuring operational excellence and simple, scalable design.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Vision & Strategy :

- Develop and implement a clear roadmap for high-scale B2C/ecommerce systems.

- Integrate modern AI techniques and automated testing to boost performance and reliability.

Product Development :

- Oversee the complete product lifecycle from design to deployment focusing on simple, scalable, and high-performance applications.

- Leverage hands-on experience to drive rapid innovation and improvements (e.g., 6X performance gains).

Team Leadership & Management :

- Mentor and manage multiple engineering teams.

- Set up best practices, promote cross-functional collaboration, and drive efficiency across both local and offshore groups.

Operational Excellence :

- Ensure systems are stable, secure, and ready to scale.

- Use proven methodologies to streamline development, testing, and continuous integration.

Qualifications :

- 10 years of experience in engineering leadership, with a background in high-scale B2C or ecommerce platforms.

- Proficient in modern AI-based development, automated testing, and agile methodologies.

- Strong technical foundation, with experience in multiple programming languages i.e. C, C++, Java, Python and cloud-based architectures.

- Proven ability to build award-winning products and enhance performance dramatically.

- Excellent team-building, recruitment, and project management skills, including experience managing distributed teams.
