Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Enterprise Solution Architect with deep domain expertise in Retail and E-commerce.

This role is ideal for a technology leader who can confidently interact with CXOs and business stakeholders while also engaging closely with engineering teams to guide solution delivery.

You will play a critical role in shaping technology direction, driving architecture decisions, and ensuring robust and scalable solutions for complex retail/e-commerce ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities :

Architectural Leadership :

- Design and own end-to-end architecture for retail applications (e.g., POS, e-commerce, inventory, CRM).

- Create and maintain architectural documentation, diagrams, and technical roadmaps.

- Ensure solutions align with business goals, technical strategy, and enterprise standards.

- Lead architecture assessments and roadmap planning.

- Ensure alignment of architecture with enterprise standards, security, and compliance requirements.

CXO & Business Engagement :

- Act as a trusted advisor to client executives and business teams.

- Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

- Present architecture and technical recommendations in a business-friendly manner.

- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks suitable for retail-specific challenges.

Technical Ownership :

- Drive modernization initiatives such as cloud migration, microservices, and API-first design.

- Provide hands-on technical guidance to development teams during design, development, and implementation.

- Resolve architectural and technical challenges proactively.

- Lead and mentor cross-functional agile teams through architecture reviews, sprint planning, and technical decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven experience as a Technical Architect in the retail domain (e.g., supply chain, loyalty systems, omnichannel).

- Strong understanding of retail business processes and customer experience strategies.

- Proficiency in modern tech stacks (e.g., ReactJS, Magento, NodeJS, .NET, Yarp, Unboxed).

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP(Preferred) ).

- Expertise in microservices architecture, API design, and event-driven systems.

- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure as code.

- Strong command over data architecture, performance, and security best practices.

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Agile/Scrum experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps.

- Willingness and ability to travel frequently for customer engagements.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with headless commerce, omnichannel retail strategies, and customer 360 initiatives.

- Certifications in enterprise architecture (TOGAF, Zachman), GCP or AWS.

- Exposure to agile delivery and DevOps practices.

- Experience in global delivery models.
