Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Kafka Administrator with deep expertise in Messaging Queues to join our infrastructure team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be the primary custodian of our real-time data streaming ecosystem, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of our Kafka clusters and MQ environments. You will collaborate closely with DevOps engineers, software architects, and data platform teams to design robust messaging patterns that power our mission-critical applications. By maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our data pipelines, you will directly influence the speed and reliability of our business intelligence and customer-facing services, ensuring seamless data flow across our enterprise architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and manage large-scale Kafka clusters to ensure optimal throughput and low-latency data delivery for internal stakeholders.

- Configure and maintain MQ infrastructure to support reliable asynchronous communication between distributed systems.

- Automate cluster provisioning, monitoring, and alerting processes to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency for the engineering team.

- Troubleshoot complex performance bottlenecks and data consistency issues to maintain high service-level agreements for our global client base.

- Implement security best practices, including encryption and access control, to protect sensitive data streams across the organization.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to manage, tune, and scale Kafka clusters in high-traffic production environments, including proficiency with Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and KSQL.

- Proven expertise in administering enterprise Messaging Queue systems, ensuring seamless integration and message persistence across heterogeneous platforms.

- Strong analytical mindset to diagnose infrastructure-level issues and communicate technical solutions clearly to cross-functional teams.

- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment in Hyderabad, demonstrating self-motivation and the capacity to lead technical initiatives independently.

- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by 5-12 years of hands-on experience in middleware and messaging infrastructure management.
