About the Role:

We are hiring a senior Solution Architect to conceptualize, design, and own the architecture of an enterprise-grade PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) built from scratch.

This is a greenfield architecture role, responsible for defining system boundaries, data flow, scalability, security, and clinical workflow alignment for hospitals, diagnostic centers, and interventional specialties.

This role is architecture-first, not a coding or maintenance position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design end-to-end architecture for an enterprise PACS platform

- Define core system components, including:

- Medical image ingestion, storage, retrieval, and routing

- Diagnostic-grade viewing workflows

- Modality worklists, scheduling, and hospital system integrations

- Role-based access control, audit logs, and reporting

- Architect high-performance imaging workflows for CT, MR, XA, US, CR, DR

- Define scalability, availability, and disaster recovery strategies

- Design security, privacy, and compliance architecture

- Create architecture diagrams, standards, and design documentation

- Provide architectural governance and technical direction to development teams

Healthcare & Domain Expertise (Mandatory):

- Hands-on experience with PACS / RIS / HIS / EMR / medical imaging platforms

- Strong understanding of clinical imaging workflows

- Deep knowledge of DICOM standards and imaging life cycle

- Experience designing systems handling large imaging datasets

- Understanding of medical data auditability and traceability

Compliance & Regulatory Awareness:

- Knowledge of healthcare data privacy and security principles

- Experience aligning systems with HIPAA / GDPRstyle requirements

- Awareness of regulatory expectations (FDA / CE readiness)
