Function : Technical Management - Engineering Management

Engineering Management / Golang / J2EE / Java / Spring

Responsibilities :

- Build, develop, and provide hands-on leadership for top-notch engineers.

- Create clear career paths for team members to help them grow with regular and deep mentoring, attract and retain top talent, keeping long-term goals in mind.

- Drive strategy and vision across teams in a rapidly evolving environment.

- Work closely with diverse stakeholders across product, tech, and business teams; enable them by providing scalable and quality technology solutions.

- Facilitate platform solutions that span beyond the team and across the ecosystem.

- Own key engineering metrics within your area.

- Drive agility in execution and create a strong team culture of responsiveness through leading by example.

- Own decision-making around prioritization for better predictability.

Requirements :

- 10 years with at least the last 2 years in the role of Engineering Manager.

- Deep understanding of technologies and architecture in a highly scalable and available environment.

- Advanced working experience in a public cloud such as AWS - Kubernetes ecosystem, datastores such as Postgres/Redis/DynamoDB, and messaging systems such as Apache Kafka/SQS.

- Entrepreneurial mentality, hunger, and passion to build quality products along with good engineering practices.

- Excellent engineering leadership ability, including recruiting, inspiring, and retaining talent.

- Very good written and verbal communication skills.

- Demonstrated ability of judgment, cross-collaboration, and problem-solving skills
