Job Description :

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our growing tech team in Bangalore. As a junior developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of backend systems supporting our ride-hailing platform, working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.

This is a work-from-office position in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities :

- Assist in developing backend systems for ride booking, driver-rider matching, and tracking.

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless app integration.

- Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on performance and scalability.

- Collaborate with QA and frontend teams to deliver high-quality features.

- Troubleshoot and debug software issues to ensure system reliability.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Experience Level: 2 to 4 years of software development experience in backend systems, databases, and scalable applications.

- Programming: Proficiency in Java (Kotlin) with Spring Boot.

- Databases: Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.

- APIs: Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Cloud & Infrastructure: Exposure to AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a plus.

- Version Control: Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

- Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with ride-hailing, mobility, logistics, or e-commerce platforms.

- Knowledge of Redis for caching and low-latency responses.

- Exposure to real-time messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Understanding of WebSockets and push notifications.
