Location: Chennai (Work from Tata Communications and client site)

Experience: 1.5 3 years

Employment Type: C2H (Contract to Hire)

Working Days: 6 days per week

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Junior Python Developer who is passionate about backend development and eager to learn new technologies. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with senior developers and client teams, assisting in the development and support of backend solutions in the telecommunications and networking domain.

The ideal candidate should have strong Python fundamentals, a willingness to work on-site in Chennai, and a basic understanding of telecom or networking concepts. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in a collaborative environment while contributing to real-world projects that shape global communication infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Assist in backend development using Python for telecom and networking applications

- Participate in integration, testing, and deployment processes to ensure seamless operations

- Collaborate with senior developers, architects, and client teams to deliver project requirements

- Write efficient, scalable, and reusable code while adhering to best practices

- Help troubleshoot and resolve issues in live environments

- Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and process improvements

- Support the team in research and development of new tools and technologies as needed

Must-Have Skills :

- Solid experience in Python backend development

- Strong coding practices and problem-solving ability

- Basic understanding of telecommunication or networking domains

- Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and frameworks

- Good communication and collaboration skills

- Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and support client-facing projects

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Familiarity with networking libraries and protocols

- Exposure to OCR modeling and related technologies

- Understanding of cloud-based or distributed systems

- Knowledge of API development and RESTful services
