Job Overview :

We are seeking a Python Backend Developer to join our development team. This role is primarily backend-focused and involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable Python-based systems and APIs. The ideal candidate should also have strong foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively integrate backend services with frontend interfaces and handle basic UI requirements when needed.

Key Responsibilities :

Backend Development (Python) :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python backend applications.

- Build secure and high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services.

- Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases and optimize queries.

- Integrate third-party services, external APIs, and internal systems.

- Ensure backend code quality, security, performance, and scalability.

- Debug, refactor, and improve existing backend systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement backend requirements.

Cloud & DevOps :

- Deploy and manage applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda).

- Work with Azure or Google APIs as required by the project.

- Monitor production environments and resolve performance or stability issues.

Frontend Integration (Non-React) :

- Apply strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to integrate frontend components with backend APIs.

- Handle template-based UI work and basic frontend logic where required.

- Debug frontendbackend integration issues and ensure smooth data flow.

- Collaborate effectively with UI/UX and frontend teams.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 2 - 3 years of experience in Python backend development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Django / Flask / FastAPI.

- Solid understanding of backend architecture and REST API design.

- Experience integrating third-party and cloud-based APIs.

- Knowledge of AWS (EC2, Lambda).

- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

- Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (beyond basic usage; capable of building, debugging, and integrating UI components).

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with system optimization and performance tuning.

- Exposure to security best practices in backend development.

- Experience working on scalable or high-traffic applications.
