Karanwal Capital is a proprietary trading firm and family office. We are a "Code-First" investment firm. We do not have clients; we trade our own internal capital using data-driven strategies. We operate at the intersection of quantitative finance and technology.

The Role :

We are looking for a Junior Backend Engineer with raw problem-solving intelligence. This is not a typical "maintenance" role.

You will work directly with the Founder & CIO to build the core infrastructure of a modern trading desk. You will write code that manages real money.

What You Will Do :

- Build : Develop robust Python scripts to fetch, clean, and store real-time financial data (Ticks, OHLCV) from NSE/BSE.

- Automate : Convert complex trading logic into efficient, bug-free Python code for live execution.

- Optimize : Work on low-latency API connections (WebSockets) to ensure our systems react faster than the market.

- Learn : Deep dive into Financial Engineering, Market Microstructure, and System Design under direct mentorship.

Who You Are :

- Coding : You breathe Python. You know how to use Pandas, NumPy, and Asyncio effectively.

- CS Fundamentals : Your understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) is solid. (Experience with LeetCode/CodeForces is a huge plus).

- Database : You can write complex SQL queries without using an ORM.

- Curiosity : You are fascinated by the Stock Market and want to understand how algorithmic trading works.
