Job Title : Junior GenAI Engineer (AI Backend)

Location : Bengaluru (On-site)

Experience : 1- 3 years

Working Days : 5 days/week

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Junior GenAI / AI Backend Engineer to build and scale production-grade AI features. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on integrating LLMs into real-world applications-not a research or prompt-only role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and deploy LLM-powered features (chatbots, copilots, document processing tools)

- Develop and maintain backend systems & APIs (FastAPI/Django preferred)

- Work on RAG pipelines (embeddings, vector databases, retrieval)

- Contribute to AI system reliability (evaluation, observability, fallbacks)

- Integrate external APIs and AI services into scalable systems

- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions

Mandatory Requirements :

- 1+ year experience working with LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, etc.) in real projects

- Strong Python and backend development skills

- Experience building AI/LLM-based applications (clearly demonstrated in CV)

- Understanding of RAG concepts and vector databases

- Experience building APIs / backend services

- Familiarity with Git, APIs, and basic cloud environments

- Background in product companies / funded startups preferred

- Exposure to AI evaluation frameworks & observability

- Experience working in high-growth startup environments

- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
