We are seeking an experienced Jira Developer with 7+ years of overall experience and 2.54 years of direct experience in Jira development for our client, Vodafone. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on developer with strong technical skills and the ability to work independently with stakeholders. This is a hybrid role located in Pune.

Key Responsibilities :

- Workflow & Plugin Development : You will design, develop, and customize Jira Workflows to meet specific business needs. A significant part of your role will involve developing and maintaining plugins using tools like Scriptrunner, Tempo, MISC, JSU, and Assets.

- Jira Administration : You will manage and support Jira Data Centre environments, handling tasks such as upgrades, configuration, and optimization. This includes performing Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, setup, and testing to ensure system resilience.

- Stakeholder Collaboration : A key part of your job is to work independently with stakeholders to gather requirements, propose effective solutions, and lead the implementation of changes.

- System Maintenance : You will also be responsible for Jira Wiki upgrades and maintaining clear system documentation.

- Team Collaboration : You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Jira aligns with business processes and compliance standards.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong expertise in Jira administration and development.

- Hands-on experience with Jira Workflow custom development.

- Proficiency in developing plugins using Scriptrunner, Tempo, MISC, JSU, Assets.

- Experience with Jira Data Centre setup, upgrades, and DR strategies.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to Confluence/Jira Wiki administration.

- Knowledge of integration with other enterprise tools.

- Experience in Agile project delivery environments.
