Role Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate has strong JavaScript fundamentals, hands-on experience with Node.js, and a solid understanding of backend architecture, performance, and security.

You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver reliable, high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.

- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs and services.

- Implement business logic, data processing, and integrations with third-party services.

- Contribute to backend architecture and system design decisions.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Handle asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and concurrency effectively.

- Design and manage databases using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.

- Write efficient queries, indexes, and data models.

- Ensure data integrity, security, and backup strategies.

- Integrate third-party APIs such as payment gateways, authentication services, analytics, and messaging systems.

- Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth).

- Work with microservices and service-to-service communication where applicable.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

- Conduct code reviews and follow best practices.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product teams.

- Support deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes.

- Monitor applications and fix bugs, performance issues, and production incidents.

- Maintain documentation for APIs and system workflows.

Required Skills & Experience :

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).

- Hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or similar.

- Experience with REST APIs and backend service development.

- Working knowledge of databases :

a. NoSQL : MongoDB

b. SQL : PostgreSQL / MySQL

- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.

- Understanding of security best practices (authentication, authorization, data protection)
