Roles and Responsibilities :

- Experienced in building and managing scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes (EKS) on AWS, with deep knowledge of container orchestration, service discovery, ingress management, and autoscaling.

- Proficient in setting up and maintaining multiple environmentsstaging, QA, and productionwith isolated configurations, secure secrets management, and seamless CI/CD integrations.

- Skilled in automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, ensuring consistent, version-controlled environments across all stages of development.

- Deep understanding of AWS services including EKS, EC2, S3, CloudFront, RDS, IAM, VPC, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch, with a strong focus on high availability, security, and performance.

- Builds and maintains robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or ArgoCD, with automated testing, linting, image scanning, deployment gating, and rollback strategies.

- Hands-on with DevSecOps practices : integrates security checks and compliance scanning into CI/CD, enforces least-privilege IAM policies, and uses tools like Trivy, Grype, or Snyk for container vulnerability detection.

- Familiar with SOC 2 compliance requirementshas implemented systems and workflows to support controls around access management, monitoring, logging, incident response, and change tracking.

- Designs and maintains comprehensive monitoring and observability setups with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, or CloudWatch Logs to ensure system health and quick resolution of issues.

- Experienced in managing secrets and sensitive configs securely across multiple environments using AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault, or similar tools.

- Comfortable taking full ownership of infrastructure reliability, on-call rotations, performance tuning, and supporting fast-moving dev teams with self-service deployment tools and infrastructure visibility.

- A proactive problem-solver with strong collaboration skillsworks closely with backend engineers, QA, product, and security teams to unblock releases and streamline deployments across environments.
