Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Java/Splunk Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Java-based applications and integrating them with Splunk for comprehensive data analysis and visualization.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, data scientists, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs and contribute to improved operational efficiency and security monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain Java-based applications using J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks to support various business functionalities.

- Design and implement Splunk solutions for data ingestion, indexing, searching, and reporting to provide actionable insights.

- Integrate Java applications with Splunk using RESTful APIs and other relevant technologies to ensure seamless data flow.

- Write and maintain scripts (e.g., Python, Shell) for automating system administration tasks and data processing workflows.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Java applications, Splunk deployments, and Linux environments to ensure system stability.

- Collaborate with system administrators to maintain and optimize Linux servers and ensure the security and performance of the infrastructure.

- Develop and maintain SQL queries and database schemas to support data storage and retrieval requirements.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, implementation guides, and troubleshooting procedures, to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain Java applications using J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks.

- Proven expertise in designing and implementing Splunk solutions for data analysis and visualization.

- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell) for automating system administration tasks and data processing workflows.

- Solid understanding of Linux system administration principles and practices.

- Experience with SQL and database management systems.

- Ability to work with JSON and RESTful APIs for data integration.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
