About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Web Developer with strong expertise in Java-based web application development and solid knowledge of AWS services. The ideal candidate should also have basic working experience or exposure (around 6 months) to Kotlin. This is a Contract-to-Hire position for 6 months, offering an opportunity to work on scalable, high-performance web applications in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java web applications.

- Implement backend services, APIs, and integrations using Java frameworks.

- Work on AWS-based deployment, infrastructure, and cloud-native components.

- Utilize Kotlin (basic to intermediate level) for specific modules or service enhancements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Management.

- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting.

- Follow best practices in coding, architecture, security, and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 36 years of hands-on experience in Java Web Development.

- Strong expertise in Core Java, Java Web Frameworks (Spring / Spring Boot), REST APIs, and Microservices.

- Solid understanding and practical experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.).

- Minimum 6 months of experience or working knowledge in Kotlin.

- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, etc.).

- Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and build tools (Maven/Gradle).

- Good understanding of application security, performance optimization, and scalability principles.

Good to Have :

- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with serverless architectures.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum workflows.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.
