This role is pivotal in leading module-level design, development, and delivery, ensuring technical excellence, maintaining code quality, mentoring developers, and ensuring alignment to architectural and product goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead module-level technical design, including API & database schema design for new and existing systems.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering Managers during grooming and estimation phases.
- Own end-to-end delivery of sprint commitments through planning, breakdown, execution, and defect resolution.
- Guide and support development team members through coding standards, design principles, and compliance needs.
- Perform peer code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and security best practices.
- Own quality delivery with strong focus on unit testing, static code analysis, and regression readiness.
- Work closely with QA for bug resolution, feature delivery, and integration issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve P1/P2 production issues, participate in on-call rotations if required.
- Collaborate cross-functionally for deployment readiness across all environments including sandbox, SIT, UAT, and production.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, and drive technical continuous improvement initiatives.
Must-Have Skills & Experience :
- 49 years of experience in software development with at least 2+ years as a Tech Lead.
- Strong command over Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
- Good exposure to REST APIs, message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), PostgreSQL/MySQL.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies Scrum, SAFe Agile.
- Prior experience in handling end-to-end SDLC for mid-sized product modules.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
