About the Role :

We are hiring a Java Technical Lead / Architect with deep expertise in designing distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise application frameworks.

This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and technical vision.

You will guide engineering teams, define architecture blueprints, and ensure successful delivery of mission-critical applications for global clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Design :

- Define system architecture for distributed, event-driven, cloud-native applications.

- Design microservices ecosystems with API gateways, service mesh, and resiliency patterns.

- Lead architectural discussions and decision-making for high-impact modules.

Backend & Cloud Leadership :

- Architect microservices using Java 17+, Spring Cloud, Domain-Driven Design.

- Lead cloud migration strategies on AWS/Azure/GCP.

- Ensure compliance with security, scalability, performance, and resilience standards.

Frontend Architecture :

- Define frontend design patterns for React.js/Angular applications.

- Create and enforce reusable UI component libraries and design frameworks.

DevOps & Observability:

- Establish standards for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and container orchestration.

- Implement monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.

Team Leadership :

- Mentor senior developers and lead engineering teams of 5 to 15 members.

- Conduct architectural reviews, code audits, and technical roadmap discussions.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, business teams, and product leadership.

Required Skills :

- 10+ years of experience in Java/Spring ecosystem

- Advanced knowledge of Spring Cloud, Microservices, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes

- Strong experience with AWS / Azure / GCP

- Expertise in event-driven architecture, distributed transactions, caching

- Experience leading engineering teams and defining architecture standards

- Understanding of API Gateway, DevOps tooling, and observability

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) :

- Deliver long-term scalable, secure, and cloud-native architecture for enterprise systems.

- Maintain 99.9% system uptime and implement resiliency strategies across services.

- Reduce technical debt through architectural governance and modernization initiatives.

- Lead and mentor 5 - 15 engineers, improving overall engineering maturity and productivity.

- Ensure architectural compliance and alignment with business and technical roadmaps.

- Drive cloud modernization and infrastructure automation initiatives.

- Enhance system performance, observability, and security through proactive design.

- Create reusable frameworks, standards, and reference architectures for organization-wide use
