Java Software Engineer - Spring Frameworks

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Java and Spring Framework.

- Develop and integrate RESTful web services using JAX-RS and related technologies.

- Work with MySQL and other relational databases to design efficient data models and write optimized queries.

- Collaborate with frontend teams using HTML, CSS, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.

- Build and deploy applications in AWS environments, leveraging services like S3, Lambda, EC2, and Docker.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.

- 2+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment.

- Strong experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and RESTful APIs.

- Proficiency in MySQL database design, development, and query optimization.

- Experience with web technologies : HTML, CSS, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, and Docker.

- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with microservices architecture and containerized deployments.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).

- Knowledge of security best practices in web application development.

- Exposure to NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) or message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
