Java Software Engineer

Description :

Position : Sr. Developer/ Lead Developer

Function : Delivery

Skills : Core Java, JSP, Servlets, AWT, Swing

Experience : 5-10 yrs

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications using Core Java, JSP, and Servlets.

- Build and maintain desktop-based GUIs using AWT and Swing frameworks.

- Implement reusable, testable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.

- Participate in software design discussions, requirement analysis, and architecture reviews.

- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA and Product Management.

- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and debugging.

- Maintain detailed technical documentation for all developed modules.

MUST HAVE SKILLS :

- Strong proficiency in Core Java.

- Hands-on experience with JSP and Servlets.

- Expertise in AWT and Swing for desktop application development.

- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and Design Patterns.

- Experience with multi-threading, collections framework, and exception handling.

- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript for JSP-based front-end integration.

- Experience with version control tools(Git/SVN).

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS :

- Exposure to Spring / Hibernate frameworks.

- Experience working in JDBC.

- Experience with RESTful Web Services or SOAP.

- Knowledge of application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic).

- Familiarity with SQL /relational databases(Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle.

- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
