Java/PHP Developer

Position : Java - PHP Developer

Work Mode : Remote Set-up

Key Responsibilities :

- Backend Development & Microservices : Design, build, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Java (with Java 8) and Spring Batch. You will also work within a microservices architecture and develop both REST and SOAP APIs.

- Full-stack & Database Integration : Develop backend logic using PHP and integrate with various databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle SQL, and Microsoft SQL Server. You will also work with front-end technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and React.

- DevOps & CI/CD : Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo, and GitLab. You should have hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure Portal, and containerization with Docker.

- Agile & Collaboration : Work effectively within an Agile methodology framework. You will use collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence and contribute to a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Core Expertise :

- Proven experience as a Java and PHP Developer.

- Hands-on experience with Java Servlets, Spring Batch, and microservices.

- Proficiency in PHP and JavaScript.

Technical Proficiency :

- Extensive knowledge of databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server.

- Experience with REST API and SOAP.

- A strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, and Docker.

Professional Attributes :

- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.

- A background in an Agile Project Management environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Apache Kafka for message queuing.

- Familiarity with IntelliJ IDEA and a strong grasp of software architecture.

- Knowledge of Apache HTTP Server and Apache Tomcat.

- Experience with Ansible Molecule for testing Ansible roles.

- Soft skills such as leadership, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution
