Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Lead with strong expertise in Core Java and Oracle PL/SQL. The ideal candidate should have 9+ years of experience in enterprise application development, with at least 4 years of dedicated PL/SQL development experience. This role involves leading technical solutions, guiding team members, and delivering high-performance backend systems that integrate deeply with relational databases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Oracle PL/SQL.

- Architect and develop complex business logic in PL/SQL including procedures, packages, triggers, and performance-optimized SQL queries.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Conduct peer code reviews, enforce best coding practices, and mentor junior developers.

- Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability through efficient Java and database programming.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide high-quality support with detailed root cause analysis.

- Drive Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos as a technical leader.

Mandatory Skills :

- 9+ years of total experience in Java application development.

- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL.

- Strong expertise in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Framework / Spring Boot.

- Experience in RESTful web services, JPA/Hibernate, and JDBC.

- Deep understanding of database design, query optimization, and indexing strategies.

- Familiarity with version control (Git), build tools (Maven/Gradle), and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of Oracle performance tuning and execution plans.

- Experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is an added advantage.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (Angular/React) is a bonus.

Education :

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
