Role Summary :

We are looking for a Tech Leader who drives team delivery, mentors engineers, and actively contributes hands-on to the codebase. The role requires a balance of people leadership, execution ownership, and strong technical involvement to ensure scalable, high-quality solutions. Experience in Learning Management Systems (LMS) or EdTech platforms is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage an engineering team with clear ownership of delivery timelines and outcomes

- Actively contribute as a hands-on developer in design, coding, reviews, and troubleshooting

- Mentor team members through code reviews, technical guidance, and continuous feedback

- Translate business and functional requirements into clear technical tasks and sprint plans

- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability across services

- Drive performance optimization, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution

- Manage execution and tracking using JIRA and Agile practices

- Collaborate with product, QA, and cross-functional teams to remove blockers

- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement

Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices

- Proficiency in JPA, PostgreSQL, and data modeling

- Experience with GCP Cloud, Git, GraphQL, and Elasticsearch

- Solid understanding of scalability, performance tuning, and system reliability

Leadership & Soft Skills :

- Proven experience in leading teams, mentoring engineers, and driving delivery

- Strong communication skills to align technical execution with business expectations

- Ability to balance hands-on development with people and delivery responsibilities

- Comfortable owning outcomes and guiding teams through complex problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working on LMS, EdTech, or assessment platforms

- Exposure to learning workflows, assessments, reporting, or content delivery systems

- Familiarity with role-based access, reporting, and analytics in learning platforms
