About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Java Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java technologies, microservices architecture, and backend development, along with the ability to mentor team members and contribute to technical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and high-performance Java applications.

- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and production incidents.

- Optimize application performance and database interactions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Business stakeholders.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.

- Participate in architectural discussions and technology evaluations.

Required Skills :

- 8 to 14 years of hands-on experience in Java development.

- Strong proficiency in Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

- Extensive experience with Spring Boot and REST API development.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles.

- Hands-on experience with Java Stream API and functional programming concepts.

- Expertise in Exception Handling, debugging, and performance tuning.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Microservices architecture.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.
