Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong Apache Kafka expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications and distributed systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, REST APIs, and enterprise application development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Develop scalable and resilient microservices-based applications.

- Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.

- Develop Kafka producers and consumers and manage topics, partitions, offsets, and consumer groups.

- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate applications with internal and external systems.

- Work on application performance optimization, troubleshooting, and production support.

- Implement error handling, logging, monitoring, and exception management.

- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and design standards.

- Analyze technical requirements and provide effective solutions.

- Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues in development and production environments.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java / Java 8+.

- Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.

- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.

- Good understanding of Kafka Producers, Consumers, Topics, Partitions, Consumer Groups, and Offsets.

- Strong experience in Microservices Architecture.

- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.

- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

- Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.

- Good understanding of application security, performance, and scalability.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with messaging technologies apart from Kafka.

- Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Exposure to monitoring tools and application performance management.
