Role Overview :

This is a niche backend integration role, not a generic Java developer role. The role owns a fleet of Java/Spring Boot services that acquire, normalize, and deliver telemetry and retention data from complex enterprise and third-party systems. It requires protocol and data-format troubleshooting across REST, Microsoft Graph, GraphQL, gRPC, JSON, XML, encoded/compressed payloads, and binary data, together with resilience patterns, Kubernetes delivery, database integration, and secure LLM API use.

Core Responsibilities :

- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Java/Spring Boot services that pull data from enterprise and third-party APIs.

- Integrate with REST, GraphQL, gRPC, Microsoft Graph or comparable enterprise APIs, including authentication, pagination, throttling, retries, asynchronous workflows, and partial failures.

- Parse, diagnose, and normalize JSON, XML, CSV, encoded, compressed, and binary payloads.

- Expose resilient middle-tier REST APIs backed by relational or NoSQL data stores where required.

- Apply timeouts, backoff, circuit breakers, idempotency, checkpointing, contract testing, and secure parser configuration.

- Deploy and operate services through Git-based CI/CD and Kubernetes or comparable orchestration.

- Instrument the services so acquired telemetry is observable and can be routed into streaming pipelines.
