Role Summary :

We are seeking a Java and Golang Developer with strong backend and database expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. The role involves hands-on development, database design and optimization, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data-driven solutions.

Key Skills :

- Programming Languages : Java, Golang (Python exposure is a plus)

- API Development : RESTful services

- Databases : SQL and database programming

- Containerization & Orchestration : Kubernetes

Core Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Golang

- Build and consume REST APIs for internal and external integrations

- Collaborate with application teams to support data-driven features

- Design, develop, and maintain relational databases

- Analyze business and technical requirements to create efficient database structures

- Implement and manage database schemas using MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server

- Optimize complex SQL queries and refine schemas for performance and scalability

- Handle data migration, import/export, and transformation activities

- Perform database administration tasks including :

a. User and access management

b. Performance tuning and monitoring

c. Backup and restore operations

d. Disaster recovery planning

- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with applicable privacy regulations

- Work closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders to meet data requirements

- Communicate technical concepts and database designs clearly to non-technical audiences

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement

Required Experience :

- 5 to 9 years of hands-on experience in backend development and database systems

- Strong experience with Java and working knowledge of Golang

- Proven experience in SQL development and database design

- Experience working with RESTful APIs

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in a production environment

- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with Python

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

- Knowledge of NoSQL databases or distributed data systems
