About the Role :

Yukti Recruitment Solutions is hiring an experienced Java Full Stack Developer for a technology role requiring strong hands-on development experience along with prior exposure to UPRR (Union Pacific Railroad) projects.

This is a specialized opportunity for professionals who have worked on UPRR / Union Pacific Railroad applications, platforms, or projects and understand the technology and business context of large-scale railroad operations.

UPRR / Union Pacific Railroad project experience is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain robust applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Design and implement scalable microservices-based architectures.

- Build and integrate secure and reliable REST APIs.

- Work across the full application stack, including backend services and frontend applications.

- Develop responsive and maintainable user interfaces using Angular and/or React.

- Work with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL-based databases.

- Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and database-related components.

- Participate in application integration using messaging technologies such as Kafka, JMS, or similar platforms.

- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other technology stakeholders.

- Contribute to application modernization, performance improvement, and technical debt reduction.

- Follow Agile/Scrum development practices and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- Core Java : Java 8/11/17, Object-Oriented Programming, Collections, Multithreading.

- Spring & Backend : Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful Web Services, API development.

- Frontend : Angular and/or React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS.

- Database : Oracle, SQL, Database design and query optimization.

- Messaging : Apache Kafka, JMS.

- Domain Experience : Prior experience working on UPRR (Union Pacific Railroad) projects is mandatory.

Candidate Profile :

- 7+ years of overall IT experience.

- Strong Java Full Stack development experience.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.

- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

- Ability to analyze complex technical problems.

- Strong ownership and accountability for deliverables.
