Role Overview:

As a Senior Java Developer with 6-8 years of experience, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying critical backend services and microservices within our core product offerings. This role involves collaborating closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into elegant and efficient technical solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the performance, reliability, and scalability of our platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for millions of users and supporting our strategic business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement high-performance, scalable, and secure Java-based applications and microservices using Spring Boot, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards for our enterprise clients.

- Collaborate with product owners and technical leads to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and contribute to the overall system design and architecture.

- Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs, integrating with various internal and external systems to support diverse business functionalities and data exchange.

- Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback to peers, and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimize system downtime and impact on end-users.

- Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and technologies to enhance team productivity, software quality, and operational efficiency.

- Contribute to the evolution of our microservices architecture, ensuring resilience, scalability, and maintainability of our core platforms.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in Java development, with a strong command of object-oriented design principles, data structures, and algorithms.

- Proficient in building and deploying applications using the Spring Boot framework, including Spring Data, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud components.

- Extensive experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures, including service discovery, API gateways, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and inter-service communication patterns.

- Proven ability to develop and consume RESTful APIs, with a deep understanding of HTTP protocols, JSON, and API security best practices (OAuth2, JWT).

- Strong understanding of database technologies, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), and experience with ORM frameworks like Hibernate.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective, scalable solutions in a dynamic environment.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively within agile teams and articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
