Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in Kafka, containerization, and modern DevOps practices. Experience in the Retail/eCommerce domain will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices with high scalability and reliability.

- Build and optimize integrations using Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, schema registry, etc.).

- Develop and deploy applications using Docker and manage orchestration via Kubernetes.

- Implement RESTful services, ensure clean API design, and maintain high code quality.

- Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup, source code management, and automation using Git.

- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues using tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Contribute to architectural discussions and implement best practices across the development lifecycle.

- Ensure adherence to security, performance, and reliability standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong programming skills in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, schema registry, message flow design).

- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and container orchestration.

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, etc.).

- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.

- Experience in Retail / eCommerce domain is a strong plus.

- Familiarity with cloud ecosystems such as AWS / Azure / GCP is preferred.
