About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our R&D-focused engineering team in Coimbatore. This role involves building complex, large-scale backend systems with deep expertise in Java, OOXML standards, and Apache POI. You will be a key contributor to research and development efforts, designing and implementing advanced document-processing features.

This role requiring strong technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and hands-on development expertise.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend solutions using Core Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.

- Work extensively with OOXML (Office Open XML) formats for document handling and processing.

- Implement high-performance, reliable document-processing features using Apache POI and related libraries.

- Drive research and development efforts for innovative solutions in document management and processing.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable features.

- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance through best practices and reviews.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance where required.

Required Skills :

- Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8 or above), Spring Boot, and Microservices.

- Hands-on experience with Apache POI and OOXML.

- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

- Experience working with RESTful APIs, multithreaded programming, and performance optimization.

- Good knowledge of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and caching mechanis

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Exposure to front-end integration (Angular/React) is a plus.

- 3+ years of professional experience in backend development.

- Proven track record in delivering complex, R&D-driven projects.
