Java Developer - Spring Boot/Hibernate

Job Title : Remote Java Developer.

Location : Remote / Hybrid (Preferred regions: EMEA, USA, UK, Japan).

Your Role

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance backend applications.

Youll work with a team of engineers, architects, and product owners to build APIs, integrate databases, and implement core business logic for web and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and related frameworks.

- Build scalable RESTful APIs and ensure secure integration with frontend and third-party services.

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that adheres to best practices.

- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to solution design.

- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.

- Debug and resolve technical issues in production and staging environments.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Ensure continuous integration, delivery, and deployment using DevOps practices.

Tech Skills We Value

- Proficiency in Java 8+, with solid knowledge of OOP, multithreading, and data structures.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and Maven/Gradle.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and web services.

- Experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization using Docker.

- Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.

- Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
