Java Developer - Spring Boot

Description :

We are seeking a Java Backend Developer with strong experience in designing and developing distributed and microservice-based systems. The ideal candidate should be passionate about backend technologies, clean architecture, and performance optimization in a
fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices using Java 8/11 and Spring Boot, JAX-RS.

- Build and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems such as exchanges, payment gateways, and market data providers.

- Work with Kafka and other messaging systems to handle high-throughput event processing.

- Write efficient, reusable, and testable code following industry best practices.

- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Coordinate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing, timely bug resolution, and smooth release cycles.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.

- Implement robust database interactions using PostgreSQL or MongoDB.

- Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and architecture improvements.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8/11) and Object-Oriented Design Principles.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Jax-RS, Core Java.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.

- Strong understanding of multithreading, collections, exception handling, and concurrency.

- Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or EKS for containerized deployments.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Maven build tools.

- Exposure to AWS cloud services and distributed caching (Redis).

- Proven experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Experience with Kafka.

- Understanding of financial products (e.g., Mutual Funds, IPOs, NCDs, Equities) will be a plus.
