About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in modern Java technologies, microservices architecture, and cloud-native application development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java 11+, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and database technologies, with exposure to modern DevOps practices and GitHub ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance Java applications.

- Build and enhance microservices using Spring Boot and REST APIs.

- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following industry best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Develop and optimize database interactions with relational and NoSQL databases.

- Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and application optimization.

- Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control using GitHub and GitHub Actions.

- Learn and work with the organization's framework built on Vert.x.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and software development lifecycle processes.

Required Skills:

- 6-13 years of hands-on software development experience.

- Strong experience in Java 11 or above (Mandatory).

- Hands-on expertise with Lambda Expressions and Functional Interfaces (Mandatory).

- Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices (Mandatory).

- Knowledge of Vert.x or willingness to learn and work on the AMEX framework.

- Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.

- Experience using GitHub Copilot.

- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and distributed application development.

- Experience with PostgreSQL or any other relational database (RDBMS).

- Experience with Couchbase or any NoSQL database.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Knowledge of performance optimization and scalable application design.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any equivalent graduate degree.
