Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in AWS, Microservices, SQL/PLSQL, and Kafka for a Contract to Hire (C2H) role. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications while leveraging AWS services and modern cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

- Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries across databases such as Sybase, DB2, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.

- Implement and manage RESTful APIs and Docker-based microservices.

- Work with Core AWS services (EC2, S3, ALB, NATGW, EFS, Lambda, API Gateway) to build and manage cloud-based applications.

- Design and implement AWS infrastructure including Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.

- Design and implement event-driven messaging solutions using Kafka.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

- Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL and hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

- Solid experience in REST API development and Dockerized microservices.

- Good understanding of AWS architecture and services (EC2, S3, ALB, NATGW, EFS, Lambda, API Gateway).

- Experience in designing and managing AWS infrastructure with DR strategies.

- Working knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.

- Strong expertise in Kafka and event-driven messaging systems.

- Problem-solving, analytical, and collaborative skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in Agile methodologies.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
