JOB DESCRIPTION :

Key job responsibilities:

1] Migrate legacy software systems to the latest AWS technologies based system

2] Identify and automate steps that will reduce the time to migrate

3] Engage with peer teams to handle dependencies

Ensure industry best practices are followed

4] Proficiency in Java and AWS services

Basic qualifications :

1] 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

2] 5+ years of Java programming (concurrency, multi-threading, Dependency Injection -Spring/Guice)

3] 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling)

4] Experience with full software development life cycle including superior debugging skills and functional and non-functional testing experience

5] Good to have experience in CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Memcached, Elasticache, SQL like query languages

Preferred qualifications :

1] 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

2] Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
