Role Overview :

We are hiring an experienced Java Developer for a long-term offshore engagement.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Java-based application development, with a focus on API development and enterprise-grade backend systems.

The candidate will work on developing, enhancing, and supporting Java applications using industry-standard frameworks and best practices.

Experience :

- Minimum 3 years of overall experience in Java development

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in API development

- Strong practical exposure to enterprise Java applications

Key Skills & Technical Requirements :

- Strong experience in Core Java and J2EE

- Proficiency in advanced Java concepts and features

- Solid understanding and application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles

- Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot

- Experience working with Hibernate for data persistence

- Proven experience in developing RESTful web services

- Good understanding of RESTful API design patterns and best practices

- Hands-on experience with application servers such as :

1. Apache Tomcat

2. JBoss

- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, including :

1. Writing complex SQL queries

2. Working with stored procedures

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based APIs and backend components

- Develop RESTful web services following industry best practices

- Implement business logic using Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot

- Integrate applications with databases using Hibernate

- Deploy and manage applications on Tomcat and JBoss servers

- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries and stored procedures in Oracle Database

- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability

- Collaborate with offshore teams to deliver project requirements within timelines
