Java Developer - Data Structure/AWS

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Java Backend Developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and APIs using Java and related technologies. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to build robust and secure enterprise-level applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services and RESTful APIs using Java (preferably Java 8 or higher)

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability

- Integrate with databases, external APIs, and third-party services

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments

- Maintain documentation of development processes, code, and APIs

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework

- Experience with RESTful API design and integration

- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns

- Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools (e.g., Hibernate)

- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git

- Understanding of security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, JWT)

- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with microservices architecture

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)

- Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)

- Knowledge of message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)

- Cloud experience (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
