Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement complex application solutions with high performance and stability, focusing on distributed systems.

- Build and optimize large-scale data processing solutions using Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, YARN, MapReduce, Sqoop, Pig, Impala, Cassandra, and Mesos.

- Implement data ingestion, ETL processes, and batch processing workflows using tools like Sqoop, Pig, and Spark.

- Work hands-on with Cloudera (CDH) ecosystem components and aim to achieve or utilize Cloudera

certification (CCDH).

- Develop distributed applications, with a strong understanding of parallel processing, fault tolerance, and resource optimization in a Big Data environment.

- Write efficient, scalable, and reusable code in Java and Big Data frameworks.

- Implement Test Driven Development (TDD) and adhere to best coding practices.

- Troubleshoot performance issues, debug complex problems, and provide innovative solutions.

- Work in an Agile environment following Scrum methodology, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Scientists, BI Engineers, DevOps) to integrate applications and ensure end-to-end data flow.

- Ensure data security, quality, and compliance as per organizational standards.

Required Skillset :

- Strong expertise in Core Java and J2EE application development.

- Hands-on experience with Data Structures and Algorithms.

- Practical knowledge of Big Data technologies : Hadoop, Spark, YARN, MapReduce, Sqoop, Pig, Hue, Impala, Cassandra on Mesos.

- Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating environment.

- Strong experience in Test Driven Development (TDD).

- Proficiency in performance tuning and application optimization.

- Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.

- Cloudera Certification (CDH) is an advantage.
