Job Description:

As a Java Developer with AWS expertise, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize scalable solutions on the AWS platform.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain Java-based applications on the AWS platform.

- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-based solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful application delivery.

- Optimize and fine-tune application performance.

- Manage and troubleshoot application deployments and infrastructure issues.

- Ensure best practices for security and compliance are followed.

- Write and maintain detailed documentation.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Java Developer with extensive knowledge of AWS.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.

- Experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based applications.

- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- This Developer will be the go-to person for difficult development problems, Java/AWS design, code standards, code reviews, etc;

- Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution;

- Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications;

- Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts;

- Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner;

- Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment;

- Individual contributor to build the application for e-commerce platform;

- Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas;

- Working in cloud data stores to include S3, DynamoDB and/or Amazon RDS;

- Perform test automation in a test-driven development environment;

- Implement DevOps concepts, tools and continuous delivery pipelines Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven, Bitbucket, Jira, etc;

- Implement instrumentation to gather business-specific metrics around consumer usage patterns;

- Development of Microservices;

- Enhancing the teams understanding of API management platforms, design standards, patterns and best practices.
