Java Developer

Role : Java Developer (6-8 Years Experience)

Location : Chennai Work from Office (WFO)

Experience : 6 - 8 Years

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days

Key Responsibilities (KRA) :

- Collaborate closely with the Japan-based team to understand requirements, provide design inputs, and ensure timely feature delivery.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and resolve bugs to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation in English.

- Actively participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.

- Share technical knowledge and contribute to continuous process improvement within the

team.

- Ensure smooth communication and reporting within a multicultural, bilingual environment

(English and Japanese).

- Manage version control using tools like Git.

- Follow Agile development practices and participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Must-Have Skillsets :

- Proficiency in Spring Boot framework for developing microservices and web applications.

- Good understanding and experience in front-end technologies : React.js or Angular.

- Proficient in JavaScript and web development practices.

- Experience with configuration management tools like Git.

- Strong unit testing and integration testing skills.

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

- Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N3 or higher.

- Ability to understand Japanese business culture and etiquette.

- Strong team player with excellent reporting, communication, and consultation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Prior experience working with Japanese companies or on manufacturing system projects.

- Deep understanding of Agile software development methodologies.

- Experience working in a cross-cultural and bilingual environment.

- Strong understanding of code review culture and collaborative development practices
