About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with hands-on experience in Java and DB2 to join our team. The ideal candidate will also have familiarity with modern development and deployment tools, with exposure to additional technologies considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using Java (WAS9, Spring Boot, JDK).

- Work on backend DB2 database management and operations.

- Collaborate with the team using Rational Application Developer, GitHub, Jenkins, and Docker.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and delivery timelines.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Java and DB2.

- Familiarity with Rational Application Developer, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker is preferred.

- Knowledge of application deployment in WAS9 environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a UK shift and deliver in a hybrid/onsite model.
